just wondering if anyone else has a take/opinion on what constitutes a 'sports' genre entry? i will withold my opinion since i am really looking for perspective. in consideration of full disclosure, i submitted a 'sports' genre this year (2009) that was not chosen. the project was a wonderful experience and will help me immensely in my future work. it did get me to thinking though about genres in this comp and how serious people think they should be.
