This is just another example of the fantastic quality work by this team of artists.
They pulled an incredible amount of people together in a short period of time to capture the Hope and Fear of the Greasy Pole competitors.
Great work. Thank you so much.

I lost out to you on the sports genre with my submission. Cant think of a better flim to loose to! I grew up in Newport, RI and have lived all over the country. I have never met any group of people anywhere in the four corners of this country and in between who are more naturally interesting and real than northeasterners, specifically new england. Loved it.
here was my submission that competed against yours:

We as a country have lost many of the old coming of age trials such as the greasy pole, where men can test their mettle, show their valor and be carried through the streets the hero of the day. This film has captured something of the old world, something that is essential to the core of man and that is a treasure unfathomable.
